AED 2 billion has been granted by the UAE cabinet to address damages to people’ houses caused by the recent extreme weather.
The job of evaluating the damage and allocating compensation in cooperation with federal and municipal authorities has been placed on a ministerial committee.
This was revealed on Wednesday during a cabinet meeting that was presided over by Dubai’s ruler and UAE’s vice president, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The cabinet applauded the government’s and emergency response teams’, volunteers’, and the public’s efforts for taking on the difficulties and banding together for the good of the country.
