Producer Ritesh Sidhwani’s mother, Leelu Sidhwani, passed away on May 17 at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai’s Khar area. On Sunday, Shah Rukh Khan, accompanied by his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan, visited the Sidhwani residence in Mumbai to offer their condolences. Karan Johar also paid his respects by visiting Ritesh’s home. Additionally, celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and Farhan Akhtar attended Leelu Sidhwani’s funeral.
Ritesh Sidhwani, who co-founded Excel Entertainment with Farhan Akhtar, had visitors on Sunday as paparazzi captured Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and Karan Johar leaving his residence in their respective cars. Suhana Khan was also spotted arriving separately in her own vehicle.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were observed on Saturday arriving at Ritesh’s residence in their car, attired in white attire. Filmmaker duo Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar were also seen pulling up in their vehicle at the entrance. Additionally, among the attendees were Kunal Kemmu and Soha Ali Khan.
The cremation ceremony for Mrs. Leelu Sidhwani occurred at the Santacruz Hindu Crematorium on May 18. A formal announcement from the family stated, “It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Leelu Sidhwani on May 17, 2024. Prayer services will be conducted on May 18, 2024, at Quantum Park RG level starting at 3:15 pm. The cremation ceremony will follow at the Santacruz Hindu Crematorium at 4:30 pm. The address for Quantum Park is RG Level, Union Park, Khar West.”
