Samsung, after pledging to expand the availability of One UI 6.1 to more devices, is now initiating the rollout of the update to older models in the Galaxy series. This update extends the previously exclusive Galaxy AI features from the S24 to all of Samsung’s flagship phones from 2021 and 2022.

Initially reported by Taurn Vats on Twitter/X and SamMobile, the rollout has commenced in Korea and is anticipated to reach other regions shortly, with India likely being the next destination according to Vats. The update will encompass the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

The Galaxy S22 lineup, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4 will gain access to nearly all of Samsung’s existing AI features, such as Live Translate, Circle to Search, Note Assist, and generative image editing. However, the Instant Slo Mo camera feature may not be included due to potential limitations in processing power within older devices.
