Actor Rajinikanth was granted a golden visa by the UAE’s Department of Culture and Tourism during his recent visit to Abu Dhabi. He expressed his gratitude to the government and MA Yusuff Ali, the chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, for their kindness and hospitality. Additionally, Rajinikanth was seen enjoying a ride in a Rolls Royce in Abu Dhabi, displaying evident joy.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala posted a picture on X (formerly Twitter) showing Rajinikanth receiving his visa, announcing, “UAE Culture and Tourism Department bestows #GoldenVisa upon #Superstar.” Rajinikanth himself shared a video with the media expressing his gratitude, stating, “It is with deep honor that I accept the esteemed UAE Golden Visa from the Abu Dhabi Government. My sincere appreciation to the Abu Dhabi government and my dear friend Mr. Yusuff Ali, CMD of Lulu Group, for facilitating this visa and providing unwavering support.”
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) of the Government of Abu Dhabi, personally presented the Golden Visa to Rajinikanth in the presence of Yusuff.
During his visit to the UAE, Rajinikanth enjoyed quality time with his friend Yusuff and several top executives of the Lulu Group. While in Abu Dhabi, he visited Yusuff’s residence and even had the pleasure of riding in Yusuff’s Rolls Royce. A video shared by an employee of the company captured Rajinikanth’s joyful demeanor as he traveled in the luxurious car to Yusuff’s home, where they engaged in conversation. Speculations arose regarding the purpose of Rajinikanth’s meetings with corporate executives, with some pondering if it was related to business. However, with Thursday’s announcement, it became evident that he sought Yusuff’s assistance in obtaining the visa.
