Bengaluru-based agriculture robotics startup Niqo Robotics has achieved a significant milestone by closing a $13 million Series B funding round. Led by Brida Innovation Ventures, the round also saw participation from new investor Fulcrum Global Capital and existing investor Omnivore. This latest investment brings Niqo Robotics’ total funding to $21 million, poised to accelerate their global expansion plans.

Niqo Robotics is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence in agriculture with their compact robots equipped with a proprietary AI camera. This camera leverages deep learning models to precisely identify target plants, enabling selective spraying and a dramatic reduction in chemical usage. The company claims their technology can cut chemical use by up to 90%, boosting profitability for farmers while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

In the fiscal year 2023-24, Niqo Robotics reports successfully commercializing their solution on over 90,000 acres of land, benefiting more than 1,800 farmers. With the fresh capital injection, Niqo Robotics plans to expand into new markets and solidify their position as a leader in AI-powered precision spraying for a more sustainable future of agriculture.
