She expressed excitement about the opportunity, especially since she was seeking a big corporate internship close to her location, which would eliminate the need for relocation.
Having turned down internship offers from other companies, Brook eagerly anticipated working at Tesla. The compensation of $26 per hour added to her enthusiasm. Her internship was scheduled to last for 12 weeks, starting on May 20. She was informed that she would receive further details about picking up a company laptop during the first week of May. Unfortunately, her offer was later revoked, leaving her disappointed and facing unexpected changes in her summer plans.
